Mini Potting Machine The machine can fill trays or pots, large or small with no requirement to change machine settings at all. A machine that will allow the grower to respond quickly to last minute orders for smaller quantity orders that might otherwise be impractical to accept. The machine is ideal for growers who have the need to fill small batches of pots of different sizes on a regular basis, where the use of a conventional filling machine would prove impractical. Operation is a simple process. The operator simply depresses a foot operated treadle switch and the machine begins to deliver compost into the pots or trays waiting below. Excess compost is recovered back into the recycling system. The compost delivery can be varied quickly and easily. The compost hopper to the rear of the machine can be easily loaded with bags or a more automated system. For the growers convenience a lift out rear panel has been incorporated to allow low-level loading should it be required. The machine benefits from large pressurised tyres to allow easy movement around the nursery.
